Resolve any difference between the seller, registered person, apparent owner, lender, estate, company or registry record before payment or possession changes hands. Add photographs of identifiers and visible condition with permission, but avoid unnecessary identity documents, unrelated people, account information and sensitive material. Preserve the original listing and important messages separately.

Review the current roadworthy position, available maintenance evidence and an independent inspection appropriate to the item. A certificate or earlier inspection records a point in time and is not a warranty of present safety or condition.
